You know you are having a positively awful day when you send the following text to someone.
"I'm sorry for snapping at you, it was uncalled for."
It's even worse when that person happens to be your boss.
And it really shows how bad the day is when you have to then cut and paste the message and send it to ANOTHER friend.

As someone who has been on both sides of this particular equation, let me state the following, for the record:
Snapping at one's boss is almost ALWAYS called for.
