Enough!
I prefer a summer wonderland. Where the lawn is green, the trees are in full leaf giving shade and visual pleasure to the eye, flowers are blooming and the sun shines its blessings on the earth. No coats to wear, no snow to shovel, no ice to slip on. Winter is only black and white, stark and unfriendly, bare and dead. Summer is colorful, vibrant, full of life.
Choose life.

That picture is very pretty. To be fair, and for comparative purposes there should be a picture of the same scene in the winter. Then we coul make an accurate choice!
I so agree. I love green lush views, vivid bright floral colors, the scent of cut grass, smelly mulch, sizzling bbq's,sweet nectar, chlorine, sunscreen, the buzzing of distant bugs, the heavy humidity of endless summer days. and even bad weather in the summer is invigorating, as the deep dark clouds roll in, the trees sway ominously, heavy drops give nature a much needed cooling off.

but I suffer every winter so I have all this in my head for years now
Altough life is indeed prettier, and makes us feel better, the ground and plants recharge in the dormant stage, which is beneficial in the long run.
The feeling of coziness portrayed is that people are NOT outside, but inside and warm, awaiting the warmth outside as well.
